Who is Dr. Whitney Bowe?

Our founder and CEO, Dr. Whitney Bowe, is a renowned, award-winning, board-certified dermatologist and scientist based in New York. Some know her as the “3D Derm” because of her multidimensional approach to skincare. You can learn more about her here.

How do you ensure the efficacy and quality of your products?

100% of our products are clinically-tested at third party laboratories to ensure they deliver transformative results. We test the final formulation you have in your Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty bottle. You can learn more about our clinical protocols here.

Is your skincare “clean,” "natural," and / or organic?

Our products do meet, and exceed the EU’s “clean” standards. However, we do not use labels such as ‘clean,’ or “natural” as they have no consistent definition, and tell you nothing about a product’s safety or efficacy. 

Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty products combine the power of naturally-derived, scientifically-optimized  ingredients that are clinically-proven to be effective and safe. Our products are also cruelty-free, plus sustainably sourced and packaged.

We are committed to bringing you the very best formulas—being “natural” or “organic” does not always yield the best results for your skin, nor the most sustainable product. You can read more about our approach here.

Is your skincare cruelty-free, fragrance-free, vegan, and / or gluten-free?

Yes. Our Outer Skincare is:

- Dermatologist-tested

- pH-balanced

- Formulated without: essential oils, parabens, animal derivatives, formaldehyde-releasers, drying alcohols, phthalates, petrolatum, PEGs, silicones.

- Formulated without: added sugar, gluten, dairy, soy, shellfish, artificial colors or flavors.

Where can I find a list of ingredients in your products?

The ingredient list can be found on the product or on the packaging of every product. You can also visit our DWB Skindex for a detailed breakdown of each ingredient we formulate with.

Why do I need both Outer + Inner Skincare?

It became clear to our founder, Dr. Whitney Bowe, after decades of treating thousands of patients that we need to evolve how we approach skincare. Skincare is an outside and inside job–it isn’t just about what you apply on your skin, it’s what you put in your body, and also your overall wellness. In particular, the gut-skin connection is real. If your gut is imbalanced, you’ll see that reflected in your skin as dryness, breakouts, sensitive skin, and other recurring skin conditions.

Without treating skin from both the inside and the outside, you’re missing an essential ‘layer’ to your skincare routine. At DWB Beauty, we take a three-dimensional approach to skincare—factoring in the skin-gut-mind connection—pairing highly-effective “Outer Skincare” (topical formulations) with skin-focused, convenient “Inner Skincare” solutions (ingestible nutrients) that work synergistically to give you healthy, radiant skin.

Can I use your products if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Our founder, Dr. Whitney Bowe, has sensitive skin and personally formulates and tests each product with sensitive skin in mind.

We also use third-party labs to test our formulations for any irritation using specific tests designed to detect both allergies or irritation.  Following that, we then make sure at least 50% of our clinical study subjects have sensitive skin, as an additional way to ensure our products are well tolerated even by the most sensitive skin. 

That said, we always recommend doing a small patch test first. You can learn more about our testing protocols here.

Is your Inner Skincare FDA approved?

The FDA does not "approve" dietary supplements. However, all of our DWB Beauty Inner Skincare ingredients are supplied by FDA-registered and inspected facilities, and all of our final products are manufactured in FDA-registered and inspected facilities.

Are your products sustainable?

Yes, we work every day to make the best, most sustainable choices for DWB Beauty and the planet. We prioritize eco-conscious packaging, cruelty-free formulations, and sustainably-sourced ingredients. We do this while ensuring the packaging is high-performance—protecting the efficacy and quality of your skincare, and giving you an elegant experience.

Where can I shop your products?

Do you have samples?

We don't have samples available, but we understand the importance of trying products before switching your routine. That's why we have a flexible return policy. Take some time to give our products a try. If you’re not in love, click here to initiate a return, no hard feelings.

Do you have kits / bundles?

Yes—and they save you 10%. You can also purchase our products individually.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Yes, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us. A Dr. Whitney Bowe beauty support member will assist you with your order.

Do you ship internationally?

No, at present we do not ship internationally. We are focusing on the United States at this time.

When will I receive my order?

All orders placed by 12p.m. EST Monday–Friday will ship the same day the order is placed. These orders usually arrive within 3-7 business days with Standard shipping. Orders placed after 1 p.m. EST on weekdays will be shipped the next business day. All orders placed on the weekend, will be shipped on the next business day.

Please note that shipping times may be delayed during major holidays and/or promotions.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We offer complimentary ground shipping for all orders within the United States. These orders should arrive within 3–7 business days.

My order is missing, it says delivered, what should I do?

If your tracking information states your package has been delivered but you are unable to locate it, we ask that you please wait at least 2 more business days before reaching out to us. Ask your neighbors, building manager, etc. to see if they received it.

Also, some carriers will mark packages as delivered before they arrive.

Most missing packages will show up within our standard delivery time frame of 3- 7 business days. 

If your order still does not arrive after this time, please contact our support team within 30 days of purchase so we can assist.

If your order still does not arrive after this time, please contact our support team at support@drwhitneybowe.com within 30 days of purchase so we can assist with resolving this for you.

How do I expedite my order?

For expedited shipping, there are a few options at checkout.

1) Ground: 3-5 business days

2) Express: 2-3 business days

3) Expedited: 1-2 business days

Depending on your order time please allow one day for processing before shipment.

What if my package or product arrives damaged?

We apologize if your package arrived damaged. Please reach out to us and we can assist you further.

Do you have discounts or promo codes that I can use for my order?

At this time we do not. However, you can save 10% by signing up for auto-delivery.

Do you have an auto-delivery program?

Yes. Auto-delivery is the most convenient way for you to get the products you want delivered to you on a regular schedule. We automatically send your favorite products based upon your chosen frequency. Consistency is key in skincare to getting results, so we highly recommend this!

The service is easy to use and customizable, so you can make changes online whenever you need. Just tell us how often you want your products via the drop downs and we'll take it from there. You will save 10% on all your auto-delivery orders.

You always have complete control over your orders. You can change your delivery frequency, next order date, or quantity anytime by visiting the Manage Subscriptions section located within your Account.

Changes to orders can be made up until 24 hours before the next scheduled shipment date and you can cancel at any time.

Can I change the shipping address for my order?

We will be happy to change the shipping address for your order! Please contact our Support Team by clicking here with your order number and the updated address ASAP as we are only able to make changes to your order if it has not yet entered the packing process.

Can I cancel or edit my order?

As long as your order has not been processed by our fulfillment team we can change or cancel your order. Please contact us for assistance.

What is your return policy?

Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty offers a 30 day return & refund policy. If for any reason you are unhappy with your Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty products please use the Returns Form here.

If you are outside of the 30 day return window, please contact customer service.

Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed. Reimbursement of funds will be allocated back to the original form of payment used for purchase.

Can I return the bundle?

Kits, sets, bundles, or duos are only eligible for returns if all of the pieces of the kit, set, bundle or duo are included in the return.
