Salicylic Acid

An oil soluble BHA (beta hydroxy acid) known for its exfoliating properties, sweeping away dead skin cells while also reducing inflammation. Since it is oil soluble, it is able to penetrate and exfoliate within the pore, making it effective for reducing clogged pores, the visibility of pores, and breakouts overall.

Salicylic acid is also recognized as a safe and effective over-the-counter topical acne treatment by the U.S. FDA when used at 0.5-2% potency. Consistent use keeps acne and blemishes at bay and can also improve the appearance of skin dullness and dark spots.
