pH-Balanced

pH stands for potential of hydrogen and refers to how acidic or basic (also known as alkaline) a water-containing material is, where a pH of 7 is neutral (water), a pH below 7 is acidic and a pH greater than 7 is basic. Healthy skin naturally has a slightly acidic pH range of 4.5 – 5.5. Products that are pH-balanced are designed to maintain or bring skin back to this natural pH level.
